Default Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 PC version announced

From EUROGAMER

Quote:
Because you wanted it, Konami has consented to make a PC version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

"That's right! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is coming to PC!" bellowed Lords of Shadow producer Dave Cox on Twitter. But he couldn't say anything else.

Does that make LOS2 the first Castlevania game to ever appear on PC?

Not much is known about Lords of Shadow 2, yet. The game was announced earlier this summer with a fantastic cinematic trailer, and that's about it. Sounds like, from the story synopsis, you'll play as Dracula as and regain your old powers on your quest to rid yourself of your immortal shackles. But plenty will try and stop you.
Wow, really surprised and excited about this one!

Cool, I hope it's a good port that runs at 60fps+.

What's wrong with hoping that it will run at 60fps or more instead of 30?

I don't know about superb. It was fun but certainly not very Castlevania-y.

Cool beans. I wasn't able to finish the first one before my 360 died, but I was mostly enjoying it. I'll definitely give this one a shot.

Is this the game that was going to be something else kill Konami though it looked like a Castlevania game so they bought it and rebranded it?

SotN was the greatest game ever! I got the original japanese Saturn and PS directors cut versions so I could play every single hidden level.

Really excited about this one, and it's great to see more PC love from Japan (hard to come by). I have it on good authority the first game was incredibly solid.

Lords of Shadow is Castlevania Reboot. and 2D game will not sell good on consoles, they have tried it with the best castlevania game SotN.

The first time I started the game, and the scene with the village at night and heavy rainfall started...man, I thought it was a freaking cutscene, it looked that good. On a console !
And the later levels
Hugely excited about this.

There were definitely some nice looking areas in that game. Too bad about that framerate, though...

Wish I could have finished it before my 360 **** the bed.

I take it you didn't like this game on console either and are gonna wish it to flop because if it doesn't it somehow affects you or something?

Yeah, whoever they hired for environment and camera design for that game is a God amongst men. I really couldn't believe the first scene either, and some of the vistas later in the game are great, too.

No, it's because everyone knows that 1024x720p is more cinematic than 1280x720p

And increasing the resolution on the pc port would ruin the experience.
