FPS Spikes -Radeon Xpress 1100

Hello, i've beeen having some major FPS spikes with my ATI Radeon Xpress 1100. This wasn't on the lst of drivers or card choices so I chose 200m as they are similar cards. I have a ATI Radeon Xpress 200m Driver installed too. This came with my computer, here are the specs:

Acer Aspire 5102WLMi
AMD Turion 64 x2 TL50 Dual Core at 1.6 hz
AI Radeon Xpres 1100
120 GB ram
2 GB memory

Now, I usually get pretty good FPS, around 80-120, but recently i've had these FPS spikes where every few minutes, my fps goes down to 5. and stays around 5 for a few mintues, and then gradually increases to normal again.

This is really affecting my gameplay and making me mad.

I have scanned for viruses, and i have searched for spyware and malware and i have cleaned my computer.

This is happening to all my games.

i have ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Chipset. I have heard this causes many issues and ive looked all over the interent. All i can find are problems, but no answers.

If anyone could please help me, that would be greatly appreciated
Is there any possibe solution?
