Default What do you use your cell phone for besides phone calls?
I finally got a cell phone a few weeks ago (RAZR V3XX) and it has all sorts of features. I use it for calls, voice mail, and the MP3 player. It also has web, games, calendar, and various other apps. But, I doubt that I'll ever use them.

With the coming of the multi-feature iPhone, I'm just curious how often it is that people use their cell phones for things other than talking. It's nice to have the ability to do all sorts of things on your phone, but how prevalent is the use of these features? I'm wondering if people don't use all these features because they don't need them or they are just to difficult to use on their cell phone.

i use my phone for calls, messages, calendar, mp3, radio, and games. there are some other features (such as internet), but the screen is too small to even bother with them

I use mine for mp3 player, movie player (on the train to work), calander, internet (esp connected over wifi ), games, copying data from work to home (phone has a 4Gb drive)

I have a nokia phone aswell, dont really know the model but its one of those that slide open. I use mine for photo-ops and i use the alarm clock as a fail safe incase my regular alarm clock doesnt wake me up. Its very effective I also use it to play music while im mopping the floors at work

I have a BlackBerry.

I use it for e-mail, phone, SMS, games, and as a PDA (i.e. address book, planner, to do lists).

I don't even use it to make calls, it's for emergencies. I despise texting.

Yep, I really don't use it at all. If I want to listen to music, browse the web, play games, or do anything else on the road, that's what my PDA is for.
