A few days ago, in the latest issue of PC Gamer UK, The Spy's rumor column suggested that Capcom might be bringing Resident Evil 4 to the PC, and now new evidence has surfaced to support that claim.

An unfortunate truth as the ugly Onimusha 3 shows clearly (its a decent game but just ugly) but you never know!

I hope if this is true that it gets properly ported because the game is just wonderful. Its gorgeous on the cube and looks amazing on the PS2 (I own the ps2 version). I could only imagine a perfect port but jacked up to 1680x1050 widescreen res (my native res) with 8x AF and 8x AA...

In the CAPCOM's European forums, members of CAMPCOm has confirmed RE4 and also Devil may Cr 3 Special Edition for the PCs.

If it comes out on PC, I'll buy it. I don't bother with consoles, other than a handheld, so a PC version would be great.

I've heard nothing but good things about RE4. I sure it will be worth a look if it ever hits PC.

Is it just me or does the new control scheme totally suck ass? Yes, I know, it allows the player to hit enemies with more accuracy. But isn't this supposed to be an adventure kind of game? I mean, why even call it Resident Evil when it plays nothing like the first three?

The cotnrols are clunky just like the previous games. Just stupid stuff like having to press a seprate button to run instead of being able to move between various paces with the analog stick, and having to go to the atache case every time you need to swap weapons. Granted, that is all classic RE there, and the only thing that really changed the controls is the view.

That aside, the game is a masterpeice and I was speachless when I found out it is being ported to the PC. I can't wait to see it in all it's high res, AAed and AFed glory.

Just stupid stuff like having to press a seprate button to run instead of being able to move between various paces with the analog stick, and having to go to the atache case every time you need to swap weapons. Granted, that is all classic RE there, and the only thing that really changed the controls is the view. That aside, the game is a masterpeice and I was speachless when I found out it is being ported to the PC. I can't wait to see it in all it's high res, AAed and AFed glory.
