Game is quite intense and I like it. Not really scary but requires you to think on your feet and sometimes just run. I like the linear story and sequences thus far. It is a bit stupid that they don't bone Ethan outright. Also there is one stuff that happened in the castle with the fat lady that had me rolling my eyes very hard. Kind of reminded me of Wolfenstein 2.

I didn't spank her but it was pretty intense. I quite enjoyed my time at the castle. Back at the village and I think I unlocked a bunch of pathways now and will start boning the other bitches. I am having a ball with this game. I also love that this game starts up in HDR and doesn't look like absolute garbage on my G7 monitor. Just all around good time.

Game does stutter quite a bit maxed out on my 3070. I will see if it has cloud saves and then will continue on my 3090 rig. That rig has been mining so long I completely forgot that I can also play games on it

Really having a ball with this game. It is so stupid and over the top that I actually love it. Great pickup to be honest and for the experience alone 42 bucks is not much. Highly recommended.

Yeah, it's daft, OTT, has ridiculous RE moments (one character refers to Chris Redfield as a "boulder punching asshole" ) and while I wish it wasn't toned down in scary from RE7, it's the third game I've ever got all steam achievements in, and my account is almost 18 years old.

do not kill animals and collect meat until the merchant says he can cook them for you. I also expanded inventory size to carry more stuff. Having him provide cooked meat meals will allow you to upgrade stats like permanent health pool size.

Done 3/4 baddies and now just roaming around doing sides. I know where to go but am exploring a bit. Game is not bad but honestly there is no scariness to it. There were a couple of startles and goose bumps but now I am owning bitches like it’s no ones business. I also got me a magnum and that shizzle na nizzle cooks monster ass.

Overall, I think it is a solid adventure but really over the top and a bit laughable. I think I missed one treasure or there is a bug where I can’t get to a tombstone part anymore. Oh well. I think it is time to finish this.

The fact that it isn't scary means that it is a proper Resident Evil title.

And I don't think the slab is a bug, it is just bad gamedesign, you have to do it right after the second area, as the scripted sequence that gives you access to the slab only occurs only happens at that moment.

Yep, fell foul of that one my first time. The crypt is only open then, and has a unique mini boss following. The treasure isn't much though - a sellable instead of a weapon or part.

So finished the game. Was pretty good but I really got exhausted about running around in the same spot again and again and again. I know it was a village but game did seem to overstay. Overall it was a good game and a decent storyline. I did feel that the ending reveal was quite underwhelming and I did not understand how or what Miranda was and why she had been waiting for 1000 years.

Other than that, it was a good shooter. I did feel that the factory level was absolute crap and I really did not enjoy it. I was in the mental frame to finish the game after we got to Strong hold but then the game kept on going and just wouldn’t ****ing end. Steam says I played about 11-12 hours but game counter said 9 hours and 17 minutes. I did explore a lot and tried to find treasures and crap and also did alternative pathways. Overall, I thought it was worth the 42 smokes I paid for it.

Will probably never touch again and will uninstall. 8.5/10 from me.

The ingame counter pauses during cutscenes and loading screens.

I think it also stops when you are in menus/pauses the game.

Yeah the in game counters in RE games are designed that way for speedrun competition purposes. A lot of people like to compete with others and themselves to see how fast they can finish these games and at better ranks.

Capcom have been known to remove anti piracy a while after release, so hopefully this will prompt them to fix it for us buyers.

The issue isn't Denuvo, but the way capcom's DRM interacts with it. Capcom's DRM also has insert points on some animations, causing the DRM to trigger checks everytime they are played. Some devs include their own DRM on top of Denuvo to make their exe's harder to bypass.

i have to say, an AMD technology is really working well on my Nvidia, with ultra quality FSR adding many fps for virtually undetectable iq difference.

I noticed some oversharpening when I tried out FSR in Village.

But ultra quality at 4k seems to be a pretty good fit.
