Getting a new mother board or get a Radeon9000 Pro

Geforce 2 mx pci
radeon7000 pci
Geforce 4 mx pci
radeon9000 pci

are all gonna perform 20% within each other, pci sucks

Should work just as fine as any other pci card out there. And about getting a new mobo...u would have to get a new case, since its a proprietary case and mobo, they dont use standard mounting designs

9000 is 8.1, so u get Pixel/Vertex Shaders. the 7000 has no TnL. the G4MX is based on the Gf2, so it's old, but has TnL but is a DX7 (no pixel/Vertex)

Just plug the card in the PCI slot, since the card is plug and play, Windows will detect it and ask you for the drivers, install the drivers and the MMC, then you are ready for some gamings. Just don't forget to clean the old display driver out first~~!

Personnaly Id get the one at Bestbuy over the one at Comp USA. I think you'll be happier with the quality and support of a built by ATI card rather than a Powered by ATI card.
