Dead Rising 3 coming to PC, requires 64-bit

Zombie game Dead Rising 3 is heading to PC this summer, following a period of Xbox One exclusivity. PC features include support for improved visuals, high resolutions, Steamworks, and controllers (as well as keyboard and mouse).

Unfortunately the trailer is 720p, but visuals still look great.

Update: the trailer has been upgraded to 1080p.



Along with the announcement comes system requirements, which note a 64-bit operating system is needed, meaning you can expect a more technically advanced game with better performance, as it's not hindered by ye olde 32-bit development.

Sounds good, "period of Xbox One exclusivity." does that mean a PS4 version too i wonder?

Probably not. PC is okay by Microsoft since it's in part their platform.

Recommended System Requirement: ... AMD Radeon 7970 2GB

The spec's seem questionable. Way too many customers won't meet the minimum and the game is going to have to look amazing to justify the recommended spec's. And there's not enough of a gap between the minimum and the recommended.

A 7870 is not blown away by a (non GB edition) 7970.
