Default What is a SuperClass in Java?

I have to give a 40 minute presentation, well teach a class for 40 minutes on topics the teacher assigned us. She assigned me to research and present Super Classes. I have searched online, in the textbook and found nothing concrete
.
Here are the websites I have looked at so far.
http://mindprod.com/jgloss/superclass.html
http://www.math.ucla.edu/~ccli/20a.1...uperclass.html
http://www.otherwise.com/Lessons/%20...out%20Objects/
http://journals.ecs.soton.ac.uk/java...ubclasses.html
http://www.csg.is.titech.ac.jp/openj.../Override.html

Anyone know of a site that has a good explanation of SuperClasses???

Try http://www.math.uwaterloo.ca/~bwbeck...mples/ch02.pdf

This is from the textbook that I had to use last term. It's not the best textbook, but it gives a good explanation of super- and sub-classes with some good examples (you might have to do a search for it, the document is 55 pages).

Thanks a bunch. Anymore sources wouldn't hurt also.

You could talk for a few minutes about all the following:

SuperClasses,
SubClasses,
Inheritance,
Protected Member variables, Private Member variables, Public Member variables,
Polymorphism,
Method Overriding.

If you want some code demonstrating this stuff in a simple way you can have it. Just email me.

Maybe checkout a university search on google.

-> Advanced -> Speciality Searches

Here's the pages of the old java module i did.
Select ca165 from this page
