Eh, playing a game just for graphics is never worth it IMO.

I stopped playing the campaign because I was tired of seeing things appear/disappear constantly. If I started driving in the city the game would have difficulty loading assets. The streets would be mostly empty of vehicles. When I stopped driving, the game would have time to load and the vehicles would return. Third legs on npc's, and my vehicles would constantly spawn above ground making it impossible to enter.

The best part of the game is the character creation, where you get to customize your naughty bits in glorious 4K HDR.

fair enough, I could turn it on and watch the slide show. Although the game looks absolutely great even without RTing.

I might crack by the end of today. I was going through a fresh play through of the original GTA:SA all modded out. But I'm getting kind of burned out on it as I've played this a dozen times before.

^^^^I'm pretty sure there is a HDD setting in the game options to help alleviate this.

I had many bugs/glitches too. They are 98% solved for me now.

I'll admit, it is an impressive looking game at first glance if you can run it well at max settings. Especially in the downtown areas of the city. The gameplay just lacked any charm and innovation to me though after spending some time with it. Also the world was just not appealing enough to me or a place I enjoyed escaping to. In contrast I enjoyed the gameplay and setting much better in Witcher 3. Wish the game was more like that.

I had the same feeling, several hours in. There comes a point though where the plot gets far more about self-preservation than just not getting shot in a battle, and that's where I got drawn in. Before 2077 came out, I was annoyed that they were dropping the high fantasy to go with some scifi crap. However, the characters, easter egg world building, and overriding plot (with essential side quests part of that) made me glad I stayed for the ride.

Not that I don't really want another Witcher game, though!

Yeah the main plot, and character side plots were enough to keep me interested until the end. The game was fairly short too, which helped. It didn't really wear out its welcome as long as I stayed to the main story and character quests.
