Ichneumon is still being judged by the masses

Default Rage3D - Hawken Beta Performance Analysis

This week we have a new performance analysis of the Hawken beta.
We go in-depth with the Hawken beta, using latency-focused testing methods to see where Adhesive Games' mech title stands performance-wise.

Enjoy!

Why am I reading a review of a game on non-AMD hardware on an AMD-focused site?

It was given, actually. Regardless, attentive folks will notice we're less AMD-focused lately.

Edit: that's only to say we're less stringent about it, not that we'll cover AMD less.

Agreed but I thought the stuttering issues was more an AMD driver issue than for nV. Am I right?

In the case of the 7xxx series, yep, though that'll be fixed soon.

Some specific stutter has been found on GCN cards, but it doesn't only apply to GCN cards so it's useful for all cards. The next fix from AMD will help with older cards, too.

It's understandable. I'll look into switching to a newer AMD card as my main - not sure if/when that's possible.
