Default The Banner Saga.

Has anyone here played it?

Seems like it has gotten pretty good reviews, but y no thread on rage3d, does it not live up to the pc gaming master race standards?

Only thing that interests me about it, is its vector based art. I wonder how that could translate to other games. Loseless scaling

I've posted a couple of short movies in the "screw screenshots" thread. I'm not very far into the game, but its a good play so-far.

Game looks very good. TB kinda annoyed me with his crying of FPS and minimal menu options.

He tends to be rather critical of everything. Interesting enough, it makes him a somewhat more reliable reviewer than most.

Sorry but bitching about a turn based 2D game running at 55 FPS is just ****ing stupid. I like TB but a lot of the time I ignore a lot of his comments because hes critical about so many stupid aspects (like a game not having an FOV option)

I'd look at it as if that's his biggest complaint about the game, the game can't be that bad.

Just noticed this game was finished.

I played the multiplayer beta when it first launched. The mechanics seemed solid and I have been looking forward to playing the rest of the game for a long time now. Glad to see it is getting praise from reviewers.

Really loving this game.

It is Oregon Trail meets Final Fantasy Tactics in a Norse setting. It has room for improvement in some areas, but it is really good overall. Graphics are beautifully drawn/animated, combat system relatively novel, and writing is high quality. Definitely will be one of my favorite games of 2014.
