Homer Simpson is still being judged by the masses

Smile Watch Dogs

I searched and couldn't find an existing thread on this.. but OMG!! it looks insane, makes me think of a lot of game mechanics in one.. GTA/Max Payne/Hitman/AssCreed etc..

[EDIT] Damit.. just spotted it posted in the E3 thread (didn't show in the search though)

Worthy of a thread of it's own I think though..

There's a post on the e3 2012 thread, but that's okay, I guess this game needs a separate thread seeing how so many people are talking about it now. Personally I need to see more of this game before I decide whether I'll probably end up liking it or not, one negative thing is that it looks like present day earth, this is just a personal thing. But who knows, I could end up totally loving this game, just need to see a little bit more.

I am pretty sure there was a thread talking about Watch Dogs before the E3 2012 thread

No dedicated thread yet that I know of.

I agree it deserves its own thread. Its gets confusing discussing several different games in the E3 thread.

I would like to know which gpu they demoed it on, it would be cool if they only used a 580/680/7970 and not a sli/cfx setup.

And I wonder if it's really coming to the ps3/360, this and 1313 looks like they would be more suitable for the ps4/720.

Game looks really nice but if this is to be considered "next gen" I am disappoint.

I agree, I heard a lot of people talking about it on the teamxbox forums, on how it looked "next gen" and how they wished it was delayed for the sake of having it on the next console systems, to me this doesn't look next gen at all, but I guess for console gamers it does. IMO I thought star wars 1313 looked pretty damn good, but even there it's almost next gen, maybe 1 step down, but still better than everything ive seen so far at e3.

The first nextgen titles usually don't look that much better than pc games, you gays need to remember that.

The demonstration was done on a high end pc.

It will also be coming to 360 and PS3, although it obviously won't look as good.

It has been confirmed from a few sources, one of them being the president of Ubisoft.

Interesting looking game. Animation certainly is up there. But looking at the complexity of it, I'm seeing the chance for a *lot* of bugs to be sorted out...

Game looks incredible. But also looks like it will rape 75% of the current rigs. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

confirmed for 360 and ps3, so it will work fine on current pcs. i suspect they'll be using the anvil engine that is used for the assassins creed games.

Looks interesting. Not enough yet to form an opinion on though. You you have real choices or just the illusion of choice? Graphics-wise, I'd say it looks really nice.

This is what I'm wondering too; are those actual choices, or "Press this key now or you die." like a slow-time event.

Hopefully it wasn't just scripted, my guess is if you didn't trigger the lights they would pull up beside you hop out and start shooting at you and if that is the case then again hopefully you will have more then just two options kind of like how old school games allowed you to approach an objective from many angles.

Deus Ex + GTA4 = this game. Meh.

I'm much more interested in this outstanding Zombie survival game but its WiiU only so far.
