Default Explain Hybrid crossfire to me

I just picked up a new motherboard with the 780G chipset and noticed it said it was Hybrid Crossfire capable. I currently have a 8600gt but will be picking up a 3870 within the next week or so. Does hybrid crossfire mean I can have the 3870 and the IGP in crossfire mode? I know pretty much nothing about crossfire so explain it to me easily

Hmm so apparently it won't work with a 3870 but I'm assuming a 3870 will perform better than the 780G and a 3400 series in crossfire right?

I'm unaware, it's not very often someone crossfires two lower end cards like that.

actually, you might wanna check this out, you'd be way better off with a single 3870.
