4870X2 poor Crysis performance

Whether it would be high or very high settings I get around 16 to 24fps with my 4870X2 with 2xAA/[email protected] Is that normal Crysis performance on a 4870X2 or no?

I'm using 8.9 beta drivers. But the performance was the same with older drivers as well.

Dang, thought so. Would a Phenom 9850 2.5GHz take care of that bottleneck?

If I overclock then I should see a difference with a 9850 BE shouldn't I? I'm not gonna buy it till I know for sure though.

do you think that my proc.(E8400 3GHZ) bottleneck my card ASUS 9800GT ULTIMATE (factory oc) 725/1000 mhz?
