Default Dying Light system requirements are extremely high

The next game from Dead Island makers Techland is extremely demanding on system requirements. Dying Light should be doable at the minimum level for most enthusiasts, but a good many will need to upgrade to meet or exceed the recommended.

While the game looks great visually, it doesn't seem to justify such high requirements. The Dead Island games weren't the most well-optimized on PC, so it's possible optimization is lacking here also. That or the hordes of zombies bog down performance no matter what.

See the requirements below.
Quote:

If you look at that Steam page now, it seems they reduced the RAM requirements. Minimum is now 4 GB and recommended is now 8 GB.

RAM was the first thing that got my attention lol.

40Gb free space was the next. Dunno, I personally had a ton of fun in co-op with Dead Island, so I'm looking forward to this, even if it will crush my poor pc lol.

We had some fun times in Dead Island, so I'm really hoping this title lives up to the developers hopes.

I'm trying to keep my own expectations down, but I'm failing. I just love a good, solid zombie co-op shooter.
