Is this a bargain? Not worth it? Hire a maid instead?

I can get a slightly used:

Intel i9-10850K
MSI z490
16GB Memory

...for $600. Is that a decent price?

I would use it for my second rig.

CPU by itself retails for $400

Don't know which MSI z490 it is but assume between $165 to $200

RAM depends on timing speed to say $90 and up.

All considered sounds like a good deal.

Definitely not a bargain. Spend $50 more and buy new or get a 10900KF from MC for $329.
MSI gaming edge boards have some of the worst VRMs so I wouldn’t touch them.
Also hiring a maid is the better thing to do.

It would help to have more details about the board and memory. I'd say it looks like a decent price, not an amazing one, unless the board or memory is really high quality.

Also it kind of depends what you need for your second rig. If it's overkill for your purposes, like for an HTPC, then maybe not such a great buy.

Looks like a prebuilt that was bought for a 3080. Memory do not get at all. Get the board and cpu for $412.
