Default ArsTechnica reviews the Apple Mighty Mouse

Those of you who are still reeling from the news that Apple will soon be using Intel are about to get another body blow: Apple now has a multi-buttoned mouse!

Read about it here: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/hardware/mightymouse.ars

When all is said and done, all of the the Apple PR on the Mighty Mouse product page is a bit much. As a poster in the Mac Ach succinctly observed, "this thing isn't as revolutionary as one may think. It's just nice to have an Apple mouse with a frickin' scroll button and right click."

It's a waste of money and materials to have all that packing. They should just throw it in a plastic bag and put a zippie tie around the opening.

It's compatable with WinXP.

If you read the review you will find out that the tiny dot is indeed a wheel that can be used to scroll vertically and horizontally.
