SMP Client Update v6.29 Released!

SMP Client v6.29 is now available. Please update your clients!

Sure. Log into the VM and enter the following:

wget http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandeg...6.29-Linux.tgz
mkdir old
cp fah6 mpiexec old
tar xzf FAH6.29-Linux.tgz

Per normal, its recommended to let the existing WU complete just in case something goes awry.

I've updated the getFAH for my VMs. Run ./update in any of the newer VMs and it will stop folding, get the new getFAH, download the 6.29 client, run through the config, and resume folding.

I've updated five VMs using ./update and they all got the new client and resumed their WU sin problema.

has any body used the windows clint and -bigadv or is this not ready yet

hoping it will run at the same pace as having to run a vm .

Not yet, but I'll try to mess w/ it this weekend. VM folding has gotten so seamless, its hard to want to switch back to the Windows client.
