Although seemingly counter intuitive, literally hiding is not great imo. You want to play less offensive at times and at others go full on guns blazin', lookin for action.

I'm becoming a fan. The setting, premise etc I don't care for.. but movement and gunplay is top notch. I need to play a bit more but so far it feels very polished gameplay wise.


Can't believe it, I pretty much hate all other BR's..

Grind or Pay. Well that could be worse I suppose. So if it's just visuals and loot boxes they might have gotten this right. That must have been a tough sell for Respawn to EA

Wonder how long the loot boxes are going to last before they get a legal challenge.

EA had nothing to do with it, it pretty much cost ea nothing, so its all profits on their part. I'd say it was a pretty easy sell. Game still has loot boxes, which is annoying, but you get bunches of them for free at least.

Yes, ea own respawn, which is why they get all the profits. Respawn has already stated that ea had NOTHING to do with the game.

I respawned my teammates twice in one game and we actually managed to win. We won primarily because we got the best position for the final circle, right inside a building with good visibility out.

Cosmetics are terrible value, I think it would be best to wait until battle pass is out because I bet you get more bang for your buck.

Unless you're teamed with me lol. I played a few hours today and I'm getting better. Starting to get a feel for the guns, but it takes time and like all BRs you need to play a lot of matches to get in enough firefights to know how it works.

pulled off a 1v2 today for the win (was in a squad of 2 and team mate went down after bringing one enemy down in a squad of 3)

the time to kill is SO long in this game though. this might be the longest it's been in any shooter i've played. anyone still playing this?

Yeah, but mostly on the weekends. I like to put a few matches in and sometimes get home from work so late it's not worth it during the week. I've seen you hop in a few times and have been tempted, though. Was concerned about joining you since I will certainly let you down

Been playing roughly every night to every other night. Matches are quick enough that I dont get sucked in too long but enjoyable enough that gaming feels substantial.

Game sucks when you get paired with level 1-10 guys though.

what i started doing with very low level guys is just landing in the hot zone to get some kills. if we die, we die. if not, i get some kills and then later we die. makes no sense to land smart and loot for a long time just to die to the first team we meet.

I haven't played for a bit but I'll go back when the first season starts. I'm probably behind the curve now, even though I've won a few times.

I wonder if they'd ever make a new map. It's not on the roadmap, so I guess not.
