Using HD packs -- one annoyance I have -- using E to interact/pick up things is super flakey -- doesn't react quickly to an E press. You really need to **** around to get it to detect. Hope that is a bug that will be addressed because its ****ing annoying.

Other than that, plays smooth and looks "good" -- nothing mind blowing though, even with HD packs and all settings cranked.

Signed up for Ubisoft+ just to play FarCry 6. I figure it won't take me a month to finish, so it'll only cost me $15. I skipped the HD texture pack for now. Game still looks really good at 4K with Ultra settings. Getting a steady 60fps.

It ran fine on a 3070.
Maxed out I am doing 60-75 FPS on 3070 and 110-130 FPS on 3090.

BTW anyone in the U.K. wanting this, SCAN are doing it free with Samsung SSDs. Paid £80 for a 1 TB SSD for my Sons P.C. got the game for me for free :-)

game looks amazing. it looked washed out at 3440x1440 with TAA. I bumped the res scale to 1.5 and dropped to SMAA - looks fantastic.


I'm actually enjoying this one, did not care for Far Cry 5 at all. I think its been long enough since I last played a open world shooter.
