Aaaaand glad I waited and glad I picked up the originals on steam before they where pulled.

I posted this in the Screen Shots thread. But here's the original GTA:SA patched up using a mod called "Definitive Edition 2021".

They also failed to remove the code for the HotCoffee Mini-Sex game that got them in so much trouble with GTA:SA to start with . What a clown show this has been.

Saints Row 3 remaster was pretty awful too. It is still broken, over a year after release. Flight Sim 2020's launch was pretty bad too, still buggy as hell but it's getting better (slowly).

Anyhow this remaster has been a disaster and has damaged the legacy of three games that I really love.

But Rockstar can still make things right and salvage something if they just listen to the fans of these games. I generally disapprove of pointless remasters but I was willing to revisit these games because I had so much fun in these games back in the day.

People working from home has had a negative effect on AAA development though.

Almost all big titles have been delayed, and the games that did come out had less polish than usual.

lol, yeah, no. AAA games have been starting to be complete **** at release, well before covid and working from home. They are just using it as an excuse. Yes, i dont doubt it had an impact at first, but thats because there were not systems in place to handle it. By the time battlefield and some of the other pieces of **** that came out lately actually went into dvelopment, those systems were in place.

They have been releasing uncompleted ,buggy games long before Covid 19 and working from home.

Just another poor excuse from the gaming industry.

Plus look at Grove Street Games previous work on GTA stuff. It would have been surprising for this to turn out well.
