There's a few exclusives I miss out on by not having a Playstation like:

Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, God of War...there may be a few others I'm forgetting but that's about it.

For real exclusive gems I always have a Nintendo system...nothing touches their top games.

For the vast majority of other games they're almost always multi platform and I can only imagine what it'll be like playing the next Elder Scrolls, GTA, Red Dead, on the series X

I have right now 194 games on my Xbox One X and they will run amazing on the next system thanks to how Microsoft has been doing things

Each generation I usually get an xbox first ('cause I'm a sucker for Halo), followed by nintendo, and then playstation to pick up the handful of sony exclusives that I want to play. That being said, I'll easily admit that PS4 was the better console this generation.

Did Square Enix jump the gun slightly?
They announced Dragon Quest 11S (the better version thats found on switch) is coming to Xbox series X on Dec 4.....

does that mean XbX is coming on or around Dec 4?
edit: n/m, its also coming to xbox 1 and gamepass (and PS4 and steam later i think)

Halo...hmmm... I mean it looks fine, but seriously I had hoped it would look at least as good as Uncharted4. It's a bit disappointing, for a game we've waited this long for. But I love that they seem to be completely ignoring Halo5's story... yeah that game pretty much never existed.

Forza w/ ray tracing looks sweet, although I want to see some actual game footage instead of just "in-engine".

CrossfireX looks great.

Everything else is pretty meh.

Infinite has been in development for years under Xbox one. Basically this early you're getting an enhanced version of the game for series X.

I would think big changes are coming for State of Decay 3 backed by Microsoft money.

It has issues but I think it looks pretty good overall for an open-world type FPS running at 4K60. The game isn't finished though so I'd expect tweaks/improvements before release.

It's going to get Ray tracing support post launch.

The ONLY good thing I will say about MS is that gamepass ultimate will get you all of there stuff, as well as the gamepass games from third party, and xbox live.

So the XSX is very consumer friendly and they have the much more reliable track record of Backwards Compatability.

I just wish they had the quality 1st party games that Sony has, then it would be the ultimate console.

So...

Re-watching the Halo footage again today, and somehow it's looking a lot better to me than it did yesterday. So now I'm watching digital foundry's reaction, and they're mentioning that the live stream video quality was really terrible, and they commented a lot that the higher-quality captures look much better.

I'll still stand by my previous comment though, that it really needs to look better than uncharted4. But actually I'm much more excited about the game now. Clearly not competitive with the best of Sony's first-party graphics, but the game does look great.

Also it sounds like the demo shown was an old build according to Alannah Pearce.

You're talking to different art styles. Halo should not look like Uncharted, it should look like Halo which this does.

We also saw just a tiny piece of a very large map. Think they said bigger than the last two games combined.

Pro consumer stratergy.

It's one where if you look at the prices of how much you would have to pay for PS5, PS PLUS and all the first party games would be vastly more expensive than a xsx and xbox ultimate.

They just need to get pumping out more quality first party stuff.

It's one where if you look at the prices of how much you would have to pay for PS5, PS PLUS and all the first party games would be vastly more expensive than a xsx and xbox ultimate.
