AMD Rage3D's AMD 6800 Launch Review Addendum - 6850 Crossfire Results Removed

Today, we pulled the Crossfire results for the AMD Radeon HD 6850 from our first article covering the Sapphire HD 6850 and AMD Radeon 6800 series introduction (review link). Why, well it turns out the Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 we received wasn't representative of the HD 6850 product you can buy off the shelf.

Nice review, but where are the numbers for the stock 6850 ?

http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?t=33969929

Im quite curious because the 6850 Saphire that you list is clocked 125mhz higher on the core.

Its listed in the test setup and the card lineup

But it aint in any of the graphs ?

The Sapphire HD 6850 engine clock listed in the test setup specs is a typo.

The Sapphire HD 6850 test sample was only tested in Crossfire, with the AMD supplied HD 6850. These invalidated results were removed from the graph because the Sapphire HD 6850 had the wrong number of Stream Processors enabled.

No worries. Was wondering why you posted that in this thread rather than the review article thread!
