AMD announces their new Z-60 APU, ready for Windows 8 launch this month. AMD are pushing for full HD screens, convertible form factors and long battery life to be enabled by their latest low power chip, adding some depth to the surface.

Well this helps with warming up to Metro. I am in position where before a tablet was worthless now it may solve a lot of problems if I can interface it easily with a desktop, same apps etc. So bringing the portability of a tablet to the strength of a desktop is a good step. I like to see the portability of the tablet be combined with the power of the desktop by sharing resources which should be able to be done via WiFi with Win8.
