I appreciate the update. When will there be a full review with actual hardware?

I also have a system kit being sent to me as part of AMD's new Test Drive program.

Since I just built a system based on the current A10-5800k I plan to do an in-depth build documentation and performance testing. I will be posting those details on my blog and here on Rage as well.

Hopefully I should have it written in a manner that will help the average Joe, as well as the average Rager

The confirmation I received today said it should be arriving within the next couple weeks.

No A10-6700K

Can one underclock the multiplier on non-K series?

Duh on my part, my A10-5700 Trinity, 65w, is non-K and the multiplier does work to lower the multiplier. Thought it was a K but only underclocked it to keep temps within reason.

That's the point of the 6700. It's meant to be a lower power locked CPU, that's why you don't see an unlocked version.

The nearest equivalent of the 6700 is the 6800k. That's why they are priced $1 apart.

Yes, AFAIK all AMD CPU's/APU's are downward multi unlocked.
