ABIT has long been known as the enthusiasts company, so it's a bit disappointing to me that they have so far not shown much innovation in their graphics cards, and that's my biggest problem with their Radeon X800 Pro. There are no overclocking tools, no tools to monitor card temperatures or voltages, and no extra aftermarket cooling. All those things are what enthusiasts expect from something from ABIT.

Granted, they are starting to release new graphics cards with fancy coolers and extra feature, but so far they are limited to the mainstream cards and haven't worked their way up to these enthusiast level cards just yet.

Failing to bundle any games what-so-ever in a retail boxed graphics card is pretty bad, particularly one that costs so much and even more so when there are other X800 Pros out there that come with very good game bundles. Maybe the cost savings is worth it, but when you are already spending so much you might as well go ahead and get your moneys worth.

I find it difficult to recommend this card to anyone looking for an X800 Pro. I would say you get ABIT quality with it which would normally be a big plus, but it's likely that ABIT didn't even actually make this card but rather bought it straight from one of ATI's manufacturing partners. Maybe in the future ABIT will step-up and bring us the enthusiast features we've all come to expect from them, but right now my advice is to pass on this particular card, there are better choices available.
