Conclusion

So there you have it. Asus decided to join the ATI crowd and it landed with a bang! The company has quite a reputation for its quality products and its bundles (over here in Greece I know people who swear by Asus) and this offering certainly does not disappoint. The package and the card ooze quality, the size of the software bundle is impressive (although whether you like what's being offered is entirely a matter of personal taste) and of course the performance is everything you could expect from a Radeon 9800XT card.

So should you rush out and buy it? Well, it depends on your needs really. If you have an older card and you are after the best 3D card in the industry, it's not easy to beat the Asus offering. It's got class, it's got quality and it's got top notch performance. Hard to beat combination and as far as we are concerned it is highly recommended. On the other hand if you are an owner of a 9700 Pro and above, although the performance increase we saw in some cases justifies the upgrade, you may want to wait a few months until ATI releases its new graphics chips to the world, which are rumoured to be quite faster. So in the end it's your choice.
