Gaming Performance - Crossfire

Aliens Vs. Predator Benchmark - high quality with medium texture settings with 2xFSAA/8XAF with Tessellationon and SSAO/Advanced Shadows disabled. FRAPS results of benchmark run.

Close performance here, with 93% scaling over single card for the 7750.

Battlefield 3 - Medium with 0xMSAA/8XAF + HBAO off, no motion blur or post processing AA. FRAPS results of firefight in square against RPG's.

Close grouping of results, the overclock paying off for the 7750's to increase peformance marginally over the 6950. The dual cards are 78% faster than single 7750.

Civilization 5 - FRAPS result of lategamebench, 2xMSAA, highest settings.

Low Crossfire scaling here at only 19.5%, but the dual 7750's match the 6950 indicating the problem is not driver but platform related.

Crysis 2 - FRAPS results of Adrenaline benchmark tool using Times Square benchmark level with no AA, Edge AA enabled with Performance preset and DX11 + high res textures.

91% scaling for dual 7750's and better performance than a single 6950 show the benefit of the new GCN architecture.

Call of Duty: Black Ops - FRAPS results of playthrough multi-player training map Villa, 4xMSAA/16xAF highest settings.

Black Ops has a hard FPS cap of ~85FPS so poor (in fact negative) scaling here indicates engine limitations and driver issues.

DiRT 3 - FRAPS results of Adrenaline benchmark tool of finland track, 8 cars, ultra preset using Dx11, 4xMSAA.

A quite intriguing result for CrossFireX 7750s, showing 114% scaling over single card in one of AMD's flagship Gaming Evolved titles.

Lost Planet 2 - FRAPS results of benchmark test B, medium settings with 2xMSAA and DX11 features.

54% scaling for CrossfireX isn't stellar, but still allows the 7750 pair to match the 6950.

Left 4 Dead 2 - FRAPS results of playthough Hard Rain first level, highest settings with 4xMSAA/16xAF.

The 41% scaling seen here is poor and can't match the 6950, but at close to 120fps average there's room for increasing AA or enhancing it without losing playability.

Metro 2033 - FRAPS results of benchmark tool Frontline level, medium settings with AAA/4xAF, DoF off.

Crossfire 7750's can't touch the 6950 here and offer a meagre 36% scaling over single card.

Supreme Commander 2 - FRAPS results of end game playthough, highest settings with AlienFX and 4xMSAA/16xAF.

Supreme Commander has a hard FPS cap of 100FPS, which limits scaling without increasing quality settings significantly.
