SapphireTech have refreshed their AMD ATI Radeon 5700 series range with five new offerings that belong to the new AMD Radeon HD 6700 family of cards. Of course, as most of our readers remember, the new 6700 series features the same GPU core, codenamed Juniper, from the Evergreen 5-series of GPUs. Juniper was launched in October 2009, and has proven to be a very successful design; nowadays you can find it in Apple products as well as OEM Windows PC designs. Sapphire Radeon HD 6770 Vapor-X

It's worth a mention that all of Sapphire's new HD 6700 range cards are custom designs using non-standard heatsinks. At the bottom of the stack are HD 6770s with reference clocks, a dual slot cooler, three outputs and either 1GB or 512MB of GDDR5 memory. The top three models are differentiated in two different ways; one is a standard HD 6770 sporting Sapphire's Flex technology (we reviewed the Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 Flex Edition here). The remaining two are Vapor-X models, one HD 6770 (Juniper XT) and one HD 6750 (Juniper Pro), featuring a mild factory OC and a vapor chamber heatsink with four display outputs. All five models use a smaller PCB than the original HD 5770, sized more comparably to the original HD 5750 design.
