Below are the changes from the default Vision Engine Control Center settings we used:

If you're running a Juniper card you can crossfire it with another one, regardless of model number - HD 6770 with HD 5770, HD 5750 with HD 6770, HD 5770 with HD 6750, etc. but not with the HD 6790. For best results the SIMD counts should match and the core clocks should be close. As the HD 6790 is based on a different GPU core (Barts), it can't be used to create a Crossfire configuration with the Juniper cards, despite the cards being similar in both performance and features.

The card specifications indicate the three cards should be quite evenly matched, although the Barts LE-based 6790 has two significant advantages, both related to memory: an improved memory controller, and twice the bus size of Juniper. Barts also has the new improved anisotropic filtering hardware present in all the 68xx series of cards.
