Obi-Wan Kenobi - May 25th!

I didn't really like Mandalorian. Bowed out after s1. Skipped boba fett because it looked more of the same.

But this I will watch. Probably give it a try for 3 or 4 episodes.
 
Not too bad on the first 2 eps. Music was not your typical SW themes... Didnt think they would go there in terms of getting into the storyline of the Skywalker saga. I thought Obi Wan would be on his own quest mostly. But I liked what they did. Looking forward to the rest and the recent news about a Vader series that has been rumored.
 
I'm waiting for a few hours I can crank my Paradigm speakers up at night and watch. So excited for this

Founder series seem to have non glossy finishes compared to the Persona. Don't like glossy speakers for HT use due to reflections.
 
Is it me but when I tried the paradigms at the audio shop they had plenty of power but sounded flat... I like clarity and detail.

I have old Paradigm's. I wish I could afford Founders :lol:

I'm running Studio 100 V4.. I love them. Timeless sound and super accurate with an ATI 1502 powering then.

Got them second hand? I found an old review of them by Andrew Robinson and it was 2499 at the time which is pretty close to the 2599 of the current Founder 100F. Either way good for you, it's way more speaker than I can afford (plus don't have the space for floor standers or an avr that can power a pair). Enjoy the show tonight!

Yep. My Uncle bought them many years ago when they were brand new .. ran them for years, and he upgraded to Focal Kana's last year. I was stoked to get my hands on them. The Studio 100 V4 resale is particularly high since they were one of the best versions of the 5. I got a great price since it was family.

Yeah kinda. What threw me off were the foot chase scenes with her where the adult actors faked being stopped by non existent obstacles when she was clearly in arms reach. It felt like they were just play chasing :lol:


Overall good so far though.
 
started watching this. other than the main movies + Solo/Rogue, this is the only star wars content im going through. never watched Boba Fett, or any of the cartoons (even though i mostly hear good things) or read the books.

yeah leia is somewhat of a weak link but i think they had to make like that so that she would be somewhat memorable and stand out.

the soundtrack is FREAKING AMAZING. I find myself enjoying the music quite a bit, often more than what was happening on screen.

sorry if super obvious question, I'm guessing Reva is meant to be one of the kids who gets away when the temple is under attack from Order 66?
