I'm doomed to continue rocking my 7970 for longer than I thought. Why oh why the 70, now the card is basically Gone on Arrival. It's gonna be next to impossible to get it, and I bet retailers will up the card price to cash in on the package bonuses even more. I'm pissed
This is an absolute nightmare period of time for PCs; CPUs are GREAT but the GPUs actually go up in price. It's insane! I planned on getting Threadripper and an rx Vega 64, but this can't be good. I am glad for AMD though, good times on the CPU and chipset end!

So what's the ETA for Watercooled/Hybrid RX Vega cards? I'm looking to dump my 1080 Ti's due to the Black screen loss of signal issue with HDMI and 4K HDR TVs
I'm still astounded that the recommended PSU for the WC version is 1000w. I've been looking at a Gigabyte Aurous 1080ti as an alternative if I can't get hold of Vega and that recommended spec is only 600w. Now I accept they'll over estimate the power requirement but by 400w WTF. The VEGA air cooled is touted at 750w which is just plain crazy.
This must mean that all those rumours of Vega's power draw might be correct and if so wow. As Theoden said in LOTR.."how has it come to this"
my 1080 ti killed my 850 watt PSU in about 10 minuets taking two hard drives with it
now it was old and a thermaltake but had been working with the same 1800x ryzen system with two 980's in sli fine for months
