3D Mark score is from the Dual chip XGI board.

:( it beats my radeon 9700 pro in 3Dmark ... it better cost more than I payed

Nice to see a good competitor coming out, but they won't be that good for long, R360 ... R420

hmm

hmm

Like I said before it wouldn't be such a bad thing if NV went under. We have three companies with upcoming dx9 hardware who can fill the void left if nv was to go under

That would be a big hit for AMD and I see you use AMD. Back to budget Via you go...

Looks nice, I hope this wakes up all the people who refuse to belive that the NV30 doesn't suck. And I want to see prices to see if it costs the same as my 9800 did.

Well since Nvidia wont be going under anytime soon whats the point?

interesting to see another card with the shim,i wonder why heatspreaderes are not used instead?
it would save people time removing the shim which incidentally i have not had the balls to try yet :p

Man that thing is huge....

Two power connectors..??!!??

W.. t... f....

Sheesh so there is! It really looks like a modern day 3Dfx card! Either that or a photoshopped image, a an extra gpu here, a load of capacitors here, here and here and increase the length a bit...

the bigger the better lol.. man this better not turn into a freakin voodoo 5 6k!!! btw is that a 3dmark score from an oced xgi or a stock xgi card... in other words was the card oced in the test??

MMMMmmmmmmmm..........it's real............mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Anyone wanna take bets about what's going on at nVidia right now?

Yes . . . "We bought 3dfx and surely we can buy XGI Technology too..."

About the size, it doesn't look much bigger than a Geforce FX or GeForce4 Ti4600 . . .

Another interesting thing, these babies support High order surface tessellation . . . TruForm anyone? :)

They're attempting to attach a small air conditioner unit to the next NVxx part because it is known to be underpowered against the competition. The resulting product from the engineers will be a small refrigerator sized product with cable to connect to the AGP port.

They call it, "Nvidia GeforceFX pro turbo 6000+ GTS ultra with Maytag FX-Koolance ice box architecture, the most revolutionary video graphics cooling solution ever" :D

You can only really take benchmarks released from these companies with a pinch of salt, until indepent reviewers get their hands on the cards we won't kow the genuine performance of them.

I just got this from the nVidia PR ninja:

"The Volari Duo V8 Ultra is not a valid graphics card."

The XGI DUO V8 Ultra looks like a good card. Only 5k Marks though. Maybe its still a beta driver ? If ATi claims 7k Marks seems they have a ways to go.

Also i checked there site.

Seems each chip only has 8 pipes, 2 Vertex Shaders, and 4 Pixel shaders.

Also i'd like to know what method there using like SLI, MAXX and so what.

Duo V8 Specs

Seems interesting ill say. I wanta see some s3 benchies also to compare them all.
