2018 Audi S3

^shrugs^ I like it. Dark grey with the yellow looks good.

It would have been interesting to see some night shots before and after tint. Id like to see some pics of the DRLs on with that tint.

Just noticed the last pic they are on. Hmm

Have I ever told you guys I love this car?

Pretty damn happy so far. Ordered a helmet for autocross (M rated).

Sweet! What does it have for tires?

I was thinking about doing Autocross this year as well. Probably only the Test and Tune days the local group does. It's been a while.

Pirelli P-Zeroes. They were basically new when I took delivery of the car.

Should be decent. Just make sure you don't overdrive them and get too much heat into them or they might chunk.

They won't chunk, but they are very loud when being driven hard. The squeal and howl more than most tires.

I've used PZeros on two cars and tracked them. Well aware of their capabilities (or lack there of).

There's lots of different versions of the p zero. I assume he has the OEM PZ4 version. Just trying to not have him ruin a set of new tires on his first autox by going full send. We've all done it.

Oh right. Sorry, forgot you hopped onto a track and were instantly an expert and never over-drove your car or tires ever.

No. But I didn't immediately overdrive the car and most people don't either. 90% of new people to performance driving are way under theirs and the car's potential. There is a percentage of knuckleheads who hit the track thinking they are Lewis Hamilton, but they are the minority.

Road course sure. But we are talking autox here. The number of newbies I see over driving and understeering around is insane. I would think its far more common on an autox to go over the limits than a road course. Tighter turns, slower speeds, more last second corrections due to not knowing the course.

Sigh... Sure... However, those tires are not going to chunk unless they are the all-season version (which I would doubt, even then, he won't do much damage to them in Auto-X).

Went to wash my car but it's been raining...

So I got all the dirt off with a mitt and hit it with the hose  looks lean enough for this rainy week.

Dawn shot I took a couple days ago, shows the light coming from the headlights pretty well.
