Amen to that. It was only a few weeks ago that we saw firsthand how??? quickly fortunes can change. :(

must be about moving to linux. I shave 2 minutes off a gromacs % under fedora core 4 compared to windowsxp.

My mother passed away on New years eve of 1999 after a 7 year fight with cancer and it's the reason I fold... I'd prefer it if you didn't speak about her as you don't know her, never did and never will.

I don't think OC-AMD can churn out 76k+ PPD more than he's doing now.

Just be aware that I'm only folding on about a 1/4 of what I have access to... your team members keep up the crap joking about family members and you watch how fast I find the time to put everything I have on folding.. keeping the jokes light hearted is good, make it personal and it's going to be a different story.

Nothing to be sorry about, no one could of known unless you happened to catch a thread somewhere where I told why I fold, but we aren't in 3rd grade... I'm 33, chances of a family member passing away is pretty high and since a lot of us fold for personal reasons, someone folding for the project the chances are even higher. You can bust jokes about me all day long, don't bring family into it. :)

Don't count your days quite yet, I've been folding under another name on a freinds team for the last 10 days... I just bought my machines back to 2CPU Thrusday and Friday... you might be at 6 or 7 days for a few extra days... I just bought another 25Ghz up a couple hours ago... and a lot more coming :)
