A question about laptop 3d cards....

Im sorry if this question has been asked, but what is the best 3d card for a laptop? I've heard that the ATI Rage Mobility 128 is the best by far. Also how many ATI cards for laptops have 8 megs of Video Ram? Im ordering off of a website and they seem to be very short with their discription on the card. They call it a <i>"ATI Mobility hardware accelerated 3D graphics with 8 MB video memory"</i> which doesnt tell me all I need to know (IE is it the Rage Mobility 128 or is it some other mobility card?). Also this may have nothing to do with the card itself ,but what the hell does <i>"2x AGP for enhanced video, graphics and 3D performance"</i> mean?

Thanks in advance. All I want to do is be able to play Q3A with a decent framerate and shelling out $2500 better get that for me :)

It's probably a Mobility-M or something like that. Right now, Mobility 128 is hard to find and expensive. Maybe you should wait a few more months..

Diesel is right. it is most likely a rage pro lt or variant. The 2X agp is just that. the card supports the agp bus as opposed to pci bus and is a 3d accelerator for 3d games. As for it's quake 3 performance i would not bank on it. although with rageltmans latest drives available on the main page you might have a shot.
