What is reasonable price though? If Vega 7nm barely matches a stock 1080TI and/or slightly edges it out, that performance could be made up just by OCing the 1080TI. AMD hasn’t left much (or any) OC headroom in a long time.
Anyway, you could just grab a 1080TI for cheap at that point. It’s really difficult to justify AMDs flagship that is a generation ahead barely beating NVs precious gen flagship. I want AMD to succeed but they don’t make it easy to support them with purchases sometimes. I haven’t seen an AMD card worth buying since the HD5870, and that was short lived until the GTX680 came out and wiped the floor with it.
