Does anyone know why ATI is not supporting the Maxx on the newest version of its DVD Player?

I tried installing it last night and while it actually installed properly, it would not run when I tried playing a DVD. The error read something like "not detecting supported graphics card. Only ATI cards are supported."

Has ATI decided to stop supporting the Maxx altogether?
 
This isn't the right forum.

But just for info, the answers is no. The MAXX is supported. There are just problems, because it was such a new technology.
