ATI's newsgroup ???

Hey Scorp, are you in the U.S.?

I have a major piece of news about the Radeon that i must tell someone, and i need you to check out your card and see what you find.

Man, if you are in U.S. i will even pay to call you long distance, it's that important.

I am in Texas, by the way.

No way i can post this news because i gave my word to a guy that runs a well-know web-site that i wouldn't. He is going to announce it next week sometime, but i CAN tell a few friends.

Let me know if i can contact you bro?

I will check back in a few minutes since i know we are both up and posting early!!

Sorry, i am back now!!

I dont have ICQ...damn.

Man if you give me the phone # i will call, but can you erase it after, so everybody doen't call you?

Also, do you have your Radeon yet? This is crucial info dude. You must have the card already to find out. THIS IS BIG!!!

Damn Scorp, neither of us is registered, and we can't edit unless we are.

um........Hey just register if you can, and then you can give me the number, and then erase it real quick.

I am right here, will check back ever 2 minutes bro!!

Thanks Sc0rp][an,

Nice talking to you bro!

Catcha soon!

To everyone else who might be wondering about my "mysterious" post, it was just a false alarm. All is good!

Thanks :)

What the hell was that ?

I know it fasle info, so can ya tell us ?

That was like watching the news, and seeing

"Big, Big story coming up.... we now go to our field correspondent via satillite hook up."

"Thank you blah...major crisis here at...

and then they break into a whisper.

"Sorry folks, this doesn't concern you, go back to your business, it was a false alarm...yeah thats the ticket."

I am just kidding, but that was a great build up....

hey Sc0rp][an

what part of FL you in? You go to any of the LANs in the state?

Tell us, tell us! Is it a set of modified drivers similar to ASUS's crap SeeThrough drivers? If so, we're not interested.

Did you find a way for the Radeon card to make toast and fry eggs by channeling the heat from the heatsink to a custom oven?

Did you find a fix for the crap 16-bit performance? A way to modifiy two Radeons and have them operate like a Radeon MAXX?

Tell us! Tell us!

1) Raz0r inn Pensacola (not to many here :(

2) The News will be on hothardware on monday :) (its top secret hush hush) :) its not special drivers :)

All the hype seems to be over a Geforce 2 Ultra press release scheduled for Monday.

Thanks,

Sean
