  • Base version
  • can be charged from 5 to 80 percent in under 23 minutes
  • Audi now claims a U.S. range number of 238 miles
  • e-tron GT has two motors, 429 horsepower rear, front motor 235 hp
  • combined power of the two motors is 469 hp
  • with an overboost function in Launch mode that pushes the horsepower to 522 hp for 2.5 seconds

Solid state batteries are gonna double the range of these new all electrics soon.

Id buy a suv one if I had the dosh if the battery could be upgraded later.

I dunno abuot other parts of the country but the charging infrastructure in Alberta is almost nonexistant. That needs to be at a level of abundance before i even consider going EV.

That and none of the EV's out there interest me anyways (and i cant afford thesee 100k EVs....)

Tesla's start at just over $50,000cad .

Charging networks still need some growth. But that's honestly not that hard to ramp up. Vancouver feels covered in them. Infact the downtown area of Vancouver only has 1 gas station left. They are vanishing at a rather rapid rate all over here.

Well BC is a better place to consider an EV anyways. Like i said Alberta has very little charging infrastructure. And it'll continue being a slow rampup because our dumbass provincial government put all their eggs in the oil/gas basket, especially banking on Keystone XL....which was a ridiculous thing to invest in at the time...especially since it was common knowledge that it would still be half-dead if Trump won the election and pretty much all dead if Biden won. (And we know how its turning out now)

I dont want a Tesla.But

If I have to start using EV's, the one i actually want is a VW ID.Buzz :)
