Hi one of the techies at work has accidently quick formatted a hard drive, anyone know of a tool to unformat it.
Best software for unformatting a drive?

DOS has an unformat command. I don't believe it's included in the standard Windows boot disk, but I'm sure it can be found somewhere. Here is a page explaining the command and its switches. It says it wont work with Windows, but it may be worth a try since the HD was only quick formatted. Of course it might simply mean that you don't want to run it while Windows is loaded, duh.

yes i read about using the unformat command, but i dont think it will work with fat 32 drives as it was only included upto msdos 6.22
