Can 3rd party ATi 7500 cards use ATi drivers?

I'm thinking of buying an Inno3D Radeon 7500LE for my emulation and DVD PC, but wondered if it could use ATi drivers and the ATi DVD Player. I know the 8500 needs some hacks to get 3rd party cards to use ATi drivers, but is this the same for the 7500?

If so, does anyone know how to get a 3rd party card to use ATi's drivers? The main reason i ask is Inno3D dont even mention this card on their site, so i have no idea how i would get drivers for it!

yes,you can.but still you will need to edit a line in the .inf files before running the setup.

but still, you got the reference driver.it is just the same
retail ati driver.nothing changes actually because both are just the same driver but have different names (6071 retail driver,7.72 reference driver)

oh,forgot about the dvd parts..

you will need to have the cd that contain the ATI Multi Media Center for u to use because ati didnt post out the MMC installation files for users.they just post the update,u still need the CD to use it.if the cards come with it (mostly it will) u just have to download the update for it from ati

Thanks.

I have an ATi made 8500, so i have the CD already.

Will this work?

Install the reference drivers for the 7500, then the ATi DVD Player from my 8500 CD and finally the updated MMC from ATi's site?

The 7500 comes with PowerDVD 3 but i think thats quite an old version..

yes,sure it will work.

there's a new power dvd xp 4.0
try it,a lot of new features (dolby pro logic 2!!for those who dont have a high end speakers)

the update for mmc is for only the dvd player only

enjoy!!
