Cyberpunk 2077 - civil, happy, non insulting thread.

only that its still coming. no release date on the rt patch. They did say they were pushing for it to release this year, so maybe its a christmas present, but i honestly doubt it will come out this year.

though i would love to play witcher 3 rt.

I can't complain though because I've done it before too :embarrassed: . Worse tragedies in the world :)
So what you're saying is ....

Been playing this with the free VR mod. Its really good visually and I can get 54fps wo. ray tracing and 32fps w. insane RT.

It is quite playable except for one annoying thing and its a show stopper for me; the HUD elements are very hard to read and use in VR.

Shame this game doesn't have a true VR mode like Fallout4, would be an amazing experience in VR if the mechanics didn't get in the way.

Sony Has Allegedly Approached CD Projekt Red “Multiple Times” For Possible Acquisition

Microsoft and Sony are in a war to acquire as many studios as possible.

It's not a rumor, Sony has approached CD Projekt multiple times. Hence why CD did that entire thing with announcing several The Witcher games alongside new Cyberpunk, it's to boost their stock before acquisition.

:bleh:

i really dont see cdpro selling to anyone. They built themselves up from nothing, to be a competitor, to even be bigger than ubisoft at one point. They are a big pride for their country too. Even if they are worth tons, i just dont see them selling. Also they have been approached for buying repeatedly even since witcher 1 came out. Its not new.

Everyone has a price. The initial offers with one game under their belt were probably not nearly substantial enough to get them thinking about it. With more games, owned-IP, etc, offers will be higher. High enough to cash in instead of just growing the business? That's a different question.

The biggest thing they could do to make themselves more appealing is release a popular game based on original IP so that there are no licensing problems with continuations of a franchise, etc.
