Raid has a lot of mechanics that are difficult at first but simple once you understand it. There's a strong emphasis on coordination and communication as usual. They did a few minor tweaks last night, we started off with a different encounter after the hub room and the end boss fight is much harder due to different ads today (flamethrower guys first, now shielded centurions and a ton more dogs). Not sure if every week there are minor tweaks to keep things interesting or if they're just changes that were in the pipeline.

Play the adventures, grind out blue loot until 270 or so. Save your milestones for then. You should get a few useful drops every week from clan stuff too now. Once you hit 280, start buying and equipping +5 DEF/ATK mods, that'll boost you up super fast. Then you're starting to be ready for endgame stuff.
 
I’m exceptionally bad at pvp in this game. I was solid in Destiny1 but I struggle to hold a 1:1KD in Destiny2. I know my gear is **** but god damn .. lol
 
Got the gaunts and an exotic sniper as well but not seeing higher level than 270 now. How do I level up now? Shall I complete the blue story missions? Or orange adventures. I am at a loss since vendors are all capped at 265 engrams and XUR only gave me 270. So all I have now is 266 power level max.

Also anyone want to run nightfall with me. I haven't done any nightfall or raid thus far.

Weird because PvP is more balanced in d2. Get mida multitool , an auto rifle like uriel's gift (random drop) and a blue tracking rocket launcher or one with a wide blast radius and you should be good.

Do your milestones (clan xp, flashpoint, call to arms) and blue quests for exotics. You can cheese mida multitool by making 2 or more characters of the same class, giving the minitooland armor from the 1st to the 2nd before you start the mida quest and just doing the last part of the mida quest to get a high level mida every time.

Ill run nightfall if I see you on but this week is tough. Carrying people through isn't something I want to do on it.
 
Well thanks for the 2 tries at Nightfall. I didn't know how to do better at it as I was just under leveled I guess.

Also that asshole kept disappearing and respawn was crap. Guess maybe next week's nightfall is better :rolleyes:
 
This time RNG is screwing with me. I got 2 exotic drops that were repeats (Cold heart and Risk runner). I wanted to break everything around me.

Finally hit 272 and will have to wait till next week milestones to upgrade further. What a bummer. Don't have anyone to do Nightfall/Raid with.
 
Now that four of you guys are in clan, would it be possible to set up a time to raid? Thursday is one possible slot this week for me.
