dvd button launches 2 apps

Does anyone know how to stop the remote from launching to applications?
Right now it launches both Media Player 9, and PowerDVD 5.0

I uninstalled MMC 9.02 and reinstalled, turning off the DVD option, since I prefer PowerDVD to the ATI DVD software...

any ideas would be helpful, thankx,
