I've been having some puter issues lately, so I had to reinstall radeon drivers (7153's)and I had a little direct X misshap, I uninstalled it and reinstalled to get direct 3D acceleration to work, it works now,(I dont know what in the hell happened to it) well anyways I have noticed with this version if DX8.1, I have a 3D texture acceleration tab, it's all grayed out and it says not availble, my question is, is this normal? I dont remember if it was ever availble or not, or do I still have some issues I need to contend with, thanks for any info. you might be able to offer me.

It's enabled on my other system using the 3224 drivers for windows 2000. So we can say that's abnormal, although windows 98 has a lot of differences like that, little things...

You should have posted this in the Technical section...
I think you mean AGP texture acceleration is grayed out..You can fix it by installing your motherboard's AGP driver..

Hmm...try using the 7075s(W9x/ME) and the 3224 (Win2K), then install your motherboard's AGP driver. It worked for me when I was having this problem a while back.
