some people at notebookreview have gotten a call from a UK store where they pre-ordered and they went to go pick them up (approximately 1 hour ago) and are gonna do a review soon or so they said!

Currently someone from India also got one and says the processor he got is a 2 ghz instead of the 2.4 or 2.53 in the spec sheet. This will be checked by the UK guys in their version they get.
 
consensus at Notebookreview.com is the 4850m is equivalent to the gtx9800m for much cheaper

preliminary comments say the laptop runs quiet and cold while under load. i dont think they showed any numbers though

with a modest overclock, the laptop broke the 10k barrier in 3dmark

they are saying by far best bang for buck right now.

Its good to see mobility HD 4850 laptops showing up finally. Am waiting for mobility HD4670 to hit the market. At 1280x800 you are going to get some serious performace in your laptop :drool:
