Forum search doesn't return anything more recent than 2013

Wasn't having this problem last time I searched, maybe it's on my end, but every time I search, the most recent threads are always from 2013 or earlier (and I've checked with generic search terms that should have plenty of recent hits)... so I've basically never found what I was actually looking for :bleh:

Anything similar for anyone else?

Search has been pretty poop for a while with crap results. I just use google and just toss in a "rage3d" with the query or use site:rage3d.com

Not able to replicate. Can you give me an example of a search term that isn't giving current results?

Hmmm..... maybe it's not? Radeon only turns up ones from 2013, but I had tried several and though they were. Intel turns up one from 2015 and creative turns up a few from 2014/2015. Maybe that's not the issue then.

I think the search is still borked if it's getting so few from relatively generic terms, but yeah, seems like if it was an issue, it's passed. Maybe I was imagining things or maybe I picked a handful of unlucky terms.

Radeon is a very common term here (ATI, Nvidia, GeForce are other excluded search terms), so was previously excluded from search requests. I'm not sure this is a big issue, performance-wise, so I've removed the exclusions for now.

Try searching the last post in Ascending order rather than Descending order and report back...

Edit: Ah nm, Lupy had the term excluded

Very pre-Lupy. Ratchet enabled exclusion so, since he's much smarterer than me, you can expect R3D to implode shortly due to unintended consequences.

But it will certainly explode in style and much awesomeness

I wonder how the exclusions work.... cause searching radeon still got 3 pages of results, but almost all of them were pre-2010 :bleh:
