Runs in the 60's for the most part. Fairly quiet. Seen it hit 72*C max.

Using the auto overclocking the card is hitting 2100mhz core and I manually overclocked the RAM to 15GHZ.

What were both your expectations with a 2080Ti at 1440p?

What games have you run, at what settings, and how did it compare with your 1080ti's? Were you already getting high framerates with the 1080Ti in the games tested?

There is not a single game out that dips below 60 fps w/ a 1080 Ti @ 1440P. For FPS shooters most games are over 100 fps. So there is no reason for a 2080 Ti @ 1440P. Unless a game comes that pushes this crap, doesn't make sense to plough this much money down the toilet.

Nice one omega, enjoy. :)

The Trio looks to be one of the best to me.

Well there is, PC games like the Total War series for one. 1080TI cannot maintain 60FPS with 4xAA at 1440p. Kingdom Come Deliverance is another. ARMA3 another.

TBH a whole host of games using in game downscaling/SSAA/DSR too. There's certainly room for improvement over 1080TI at 1440p (especially at high refresh rates).

They score 58 average, that's hardly maintaining 60. About 1/3 of that graph is well under 60. That said, sure, you can tweak that game to maintain 60 without much IQ loss.

And GTFO, Total War is excellent. I know it's a love or hate it series, but I love it.

Far more than 2 games, plus you can sell 1080TI. But it's perfectly reasonable to avoid this purchase, it's hardly good value.

I was hoping for constant 90+ FPS on Odyssey @ 1440 max setting. It gets there but does not stay there.
