Hi

I want a gpu suggestion for another pc that do office mostly and looks at youtube.I want also to support high refresh rate. The pc has my old HD6950 2gb and support 144hz.I have problems with stand-by on this card when connected to mini-displayport.The HDMI doesn't not support 144hz on this card. The support for this card has ended.

From nvidia i am thinking one of the follow models.
GT730 , GT710, GT1030

On amd front there is R7 240 and R7 350

Thank you

What is the CPU? Because if it's a newer intel based (like 5/6th+ generation) or an AMD APU... just use the built in GPU and the mobo's DP outputs. It'll likely handle that just fine. And adapt the DP outputs to HDMi if needed.

Otherwise, the R7 240 And 350 is discontinued for support. As are the GT710 and 730.

Other ideas for entry level GPU that might work.
Radeon RX 540
Radeon RX 5300/5300XT

The rig is my old rig actually

Ryzen 1700
Asus B350 pro plus.

I can't find any GPU with the names you mentioned in my market.Maybe no stock.

The Gt1030 2gb is still supported in the latest 511.79

GeForce 10 Series:
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, GeForce GTX 1080, GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, GeForce GTX 1070, GeForce GTX 1060, GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, GeForce GTX 1050, GeForce GT 1030, GeForce GT 1010

GeForce 900 Series:
GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GeForce GTX 980, GeForce GTX 970, GeForce GTX 960, GeForce GTX 950

GeForce 700 Series:
GeForce GTX 750 Ti, GeForce GTX 750, GeForce GTX 745

Yeah the RX 540 you would have to try and find used. The Radeon RX 5300/5300XT is kinda hard to find. I can't find them here in Canada either, I suspect they didn't make allot of them.

So I would just go with the 1030. Entry level stuff is becoming less common because Intel's built in GPU and AMD's APU's have been kinda killing off the entry level stuff.

But others might have some ideas I can't think of @ almost 2am in the morning :D

I have to look into this Mark C thing more, but I think your problem is that you're gaming with mouse acceleration on.

Sensors themselves have some amount of inaccuracy which can manifest as acceleration too, but disabling acceleration means that whatever the mouse reports is directly fed to your screen.

You posted in the wrong thread :)
